On 12 October, we got the saddest news that our dear Ramdas is no more. He was a dear friend but over the years we had come to think of him as our family. 
We have fondest memories of our chit chat whenever we visited him and Vijaya. The last time we visited him was with our grandkids. In spite of his long dialysis sessions, he was delighted to play with boys of ages 5 and 3. Our 3 year old grandson Ashwin enjoyed his specially baked bread. When he visited us in Bournemouth with Vijaya, he remembered to bring his special loaf of bread for the boys. That was his sweetest nature.  

He had varied interests, playing bridge, singing, acting and cooking. We remember him taking part in plays at South Indian society functions. He was always willing to help.  

We will miss you dearly Ramdas.
